As a Carpenter you will be responsible for:

Constructing both residential and commercial projects.

Construct and install wooden framework for buildings, including walls, floors, stairs, roofs, and windows.

Setting up safety rails, floor coverings, or control zones as required.

ability to accurately measure and cut various material.

Analyzing building plans and blueprints to understand the construction requirements and specifications.

Operate a variety of power tools (e.g., saws, drills, routers) to cut and shape wood, drywall, and other materials according to specifications.

Construct and install custom cabinetry, shelving, and furniture for both residential and commercial spaces.

​Cut, shape, and install baseboards, crown moldings, and other trim to finish interior spaces.

Lay down and install various types of flooring materials, such as hardwood, laminate, tile, or vinyl.

Work alongside electricians, plumbers, and other tradespeople to ensure proper integration of different systems in construction projects.

Follow all relevant health and safety regulations on job sites, using appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE).

Properly maintain and clean tools and machinery used in carpentry.

Troubleshoot and resolve issues that arise during construction, such as misalignments or material deficiencies.

Keep track of materials and supplies to ensure that enough are available for ongoing projects.

Be prepared to work both indoors and outdoors, and in different weather conditions.
