As a labourer you will be responsible for:

​Clear the construction site of debris, dirt, and other materials to prepare for building operations.

Load and unload materials from trucks, ensuring proper handling to avoid damage.

Help set up forms for pouring concrete foundations, floors, or walls.

Aid in pouring concrete slabs, walls, and foundations.

Operate small power tools and equipment such as drills, saws, and sanders.

Use power equipment like pressure washers and compactors to complete various tasks on the site.

Keep the construction site clean and organized by removing scrap materials, excess tools, and trash.

Provide general support to carpenters, electricians, plumbers, and other skilled tradespeople by passing tools and materials or holding parts.

Assist in the demolition of existing structures, including tearing down walls, removing old flooring, and clearing debris.

Follow all safety regulations, including wearing personal protective equipment (PPE) like hard hats, gloves, and safety goggles.

Alert supervisors about potential hazards or unsafe working conditions on the site.

Assist in preparing the site for foundation work, including digging trenches, clearing debris, and placing reinforcing bars (rebar).

Maintain hand tools and small equipment, ensuring they are clean, sharp, and in good working condition.

Be prepared to work both indoors and outdoors, and in different weather conditions.
