Equipment operators are responsible for:

Safe and efficient operation of heavy duty vehicles

Conducting daily inspections of equipment to check for any defects, malfunctions, or wear-and-tear.

Performing basic maintenance on equipment.

Ensuring that equipment is properly cleaned and stored after use to extend its lifespan and reduce breakdowns.

Safely load, transport, and unload materials.

Transport equipment between different work locations, ensuring that it is secured properly.

Ensure compliance with legal requirements when moving oversized or heavy machinery across public roads.

Follow company safety guidelines and government regulations to avoid accidents and ensure a safe working environment.

Be mindful of weather conditions, such as rain or extreme temperatures, and adjust your driving accordingly to prevent accidents or equipment failure.
