As a Concrete finisher you will be responsible for:

Pouring and finishing concrete surfaces.

Ensuring the concrete is level, smooth, and free of imperfections.

Setting concrete forms to their desired height when necessary.

Raking concrete into its desired location.

Using a screed board to get concrete to the desired level.

Vibrating concrete when necessary.

Apply finishing techniques, including smoothing, polishing, or texturing, using power trowels, hand trowels, floats, or other tools.

Use a float or trowel to smooth rough patches, eliminate bumps, and remove any imperfections on the surface of the concrete.

Monitor the curing process to ensure it hardens correctly.

Regularly inspect and maintain concrete finishing tools and machinery (e.g., mixers, trowels, power trowels) to ensure they function properly.

Adjust finishing techniques based on the properties and specifications of the concrete being used.

Clean finishing equipment and tools at the end of the workday to ensure they remain in good working condition.

Follow safety protocols to ensure a safe working environment, including wearing personal protective equipment (PPE) such as gloves, boots, goggles, and hard hats.

Be prepared to work both indoors and outdoors, and in different weather conditions.
